The absence of a pianist or guitarist allows Kika’s saxophone to shine with harmonic clarity, creating a fresh contrast to her other projects. The trio’s rhythm section, described as a “match made in heaven,” delivers adventurous yet grounded performances. Together, they explore traditional jazz repertoire and original compositions.
